Problem
As a boot-strapped startup, Unbox needed a test platform to connect students with startups. My task was to design and build the front-end of the application based on the wireframes. The no-code nature of bubble.io meant I had to quickly become comfortable with both the back-end and the front-end work.
Solution
The student and startup interfaces had two different theme colors as per branding. I made many changes to the initial wireframes after ongoing user testing. For example, I added text to the icons in the navbar, because their functionality was not intuitive from the start. Users found the final platform 'simple, clean and enjoyable' to use.
